Canadian pop rock band, The Moffatts released their first single "I'll Be There For You" from their third studio album "Chapter 1: A New Beginning" on 8 April 1998. This catchy pop song was a hit in Canada, reaching #5 on Canada Singles Chart and peaked at #25 on the R.P.M. Adult Contemporary Chart.

Official music video was released to promote the single and was directed by Lionel Martin in 1998. It was entered MTV Asia Hit List around 1998 and included as track on compilation album Now That's What I Call Music! 4 for Indonesian edition.
